Piedmont Rug Hookers Guild

Friday, March 25, 2011, 5pm-8pm, was the Opening Reception for the Piedmont Rug Hookers Exhibit held at Halle Cultural Arts Center in historic Apex.

Our artists were well received and complemented on the 35 pieces displayed. Cathy Cousins, Mary Wrighton and Karen Poetzinger demonstrated rug hooking techniques.

For three hours, we enjoyed meeting family members and friends of the artists, explaining our art to the uninitiated, and patting ourselves on the back!

This venue is a great one to display artwork. Be sure to tell your friends and family to check it out. While you are in Apex, take advantage of the unique shops and restaurants in the cute downtown area.
