Piedmont Rug Hookers Guild

This year, our beach retreat was March 17-20. We added an additional night and day to our trip, and the extra time hooking was ideal! Five rugs were finished, which was very satisfying to the the hookers!

As usual, Trinity Center supplied good food and accomodations, not to mention the wonderful classroom with lots of windows and light. The attendees supplied delicious treats, as well two nights of wine and cheese. Walks on the beach and to the pier on the sound, the clear blue skies with a nightly quarter moon, cool weather, watching the ACC tournament, trading stories and hooking advice.....that is what our retreat is all about. We left tired, but satified with our work, and looking forward to next year's retreat. 

There is a rumor that each year, we will add an additional night, until we never have to leave!
